Aqua Excel

Coburg Aquarium is pleased to launch our new range of filtration equipment from Aqua Excel. Aqua Excel is a Hong Kong based company that manufactures a range of protein skimmers, media filters and other acrylic products. The range includes the super efficient ‘cone type’ protein skimmers that are much more efficient than traditional models. There are a range of different models and sizes designed to suit a range of tank sizes from 100 to 10,000 plus litres either as internal or hang on systems and integrated or external systems.

The skimmers all use pin wheel design which are highly efficient at producing fine bubbles that enhance the skimming action of these filters. They are made from heavy duty quality acrylic and so are robust and with a long life. Several different pump types are used including Laguna and Eheim – both leading European brands for longevity and reliability.
