This month's Tank of the Month belongs to Joe Cameron.

Inhabitants:

• * 2 eastern long-neck turtles (Dinkles and Twinkles)

How big is your tank?
30" x 18".

How long have you had the tank for?
9 months.

What equipment are you using (filtration, lighting, heater, CO2 gear etc)?
3 stage canister bio filter, UV light, heat lamp and heater.

What aquascaping have you done (gravel, plants, corals, etc)?
Gravel, 2 fake plants (the turtles eat the real ones), stones and rocks.

How much time do you spend maintaining your tank per week?
Average 4 hours a month.

What is your maintenance routine (water changes, chemical additions etc)?
Fortnightly 20% water changes with chemical neutraliser and canister filter clean, every 2 months I clean everything from top to bottom.

What do you feed your turtles?
I feed my turtles fish sometimes. (I normally feed mealworms and fish block to them).

Tell us some interesting/unique about your tank?
The turtles like to use the back wall of the tank as a rock climbing feature - they like to poke their head out of the grid.

Is there something you would change about your tank and why?
I would like a hood as my tank resides in my living room and the water sound can be irritating.
