Range: West Africa: Sierra Leone, SE Guinea, West Liberia
Reproduction: Eggs are laid on a hard surface, the eggs (and hatched fry) are guarded by both parents. First foods for fry can include baby Brine Shrimp, Microworms and commercial fry foods.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Eats all normal foods.
Additional Comments: Peaceful dwarf Cichlid, suitable for planted community tanks, does not uproot plants. Males grow about 25% larger than females and are slightly more elongated.
