Reproduction: Eggs scattered among plants, usually spawns in morning. First food for fry: Powder foods, Vinegar eels.
Feeding: Omnivorous, accepts most standard foods.
Additional Comments: Shoaling fish, best kept in a group. Prefers open swimming space with some background plant thickets. Males develop more colourful fins as they mature.
