Range: Western Africa
Reproduction: Egg-scatterer among plants, needs soft water. Fry initially require very small foods. Difficult to induce to breed.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Eats all normal foods, appreciates occasional feeds of live or frozen foods.
Additional Comments: Good community fish, prefers to be in a school. Most stock supplied is wild caught from Africa.
