Reproduction: Egg-scatterer among plants, needs soft water. Fry initially require very small foods. Difficult to induce to breed.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Prefers smaller sized foods, appreciates occasional feeds of live or frozen foods.
Additional Comments: Schooling fish. Needs hiding places. Looks its best when kept in a group in a well-planted tank with other small fishes. Suitable for a nano tank.
