Reproduction: Egg scatterer, usually can only be stimulated to breed by hormone injection.

Additional Comments: Very hardy catfish, will adapt to a wide range of conditions. Active and easy to care for. Small specimens are intricately patterned, larger specimens develop a large feather-like dorsal fin.
