Habitat:
- Heating:20 - 25 degrees C with a basking lamp heated to 25 - 30 degrees C
- Lighting:UVA / UVB (Exo Terra 10.0 globes recommended)
- Environment:Neutral PH, tropical temperature water. Provide a Turtle dock
Range: Inland swamps, dams and lakes from Northern Queensland to South Australia.
Feeding: Freshwater yabbies, prawns, snails, crickets, freshwater fish
Additional Comments: When threatened, this turtle will emit a foul odorous fluid from musk glands at the base of its tail.
