Habitat:
- Heating:24 - 28 degrees C
- Lighting:UVA / UVB (Exo Terra 10.0 globes recommended)
- Environment:Half the tank should have water coverage to a depth of 15cm. Provide plenty of places to climb out. Vegetation like Spathophyllum (peace lily) can be added. Be wary of having dirt in your aquarium, as it can provide a breeding ground for bacteria. Spathophyllum will survive if the roots are cleaned of dirt, but submerged in water.
Range: All states except Victoria and Tasmania
Feeding: Crickets and woodies dusted with vitamin supplement
Additional Comments: The scientific name 'caerulea' is actually the Latin word for 'blue'. Specimens preserved in alcohol arrived in London in 1790. The alcohol is thought to have altered the frog's true colour to blue, and the name stuck.
