- Heating:26 degree C water temperature.
- Lighting:UVA / UVB (Exo Terra 5.0 globes recommended)
- Environment:Neutral PH, tropical temperature water. Provide a Turtle dock
Range: Mary River in South East Queensland
Feeding: Freshwater yabbies, prawns, snails, crickets, freshwater fish
Additional Comments: Originally sold as penny turtles during the 60s and 70s. The popularity of these turtles as pets almost drove them to extinction.
