Habitat:

Range: Cape York Peninsula down to as far as Newcastle NSW.
Feeding: Freshwater yabbies, prawns, snails, crickets, freshwater fish
Additional Comments: Short-necked turtle with a large head and powerful jaws. Can live from 20 - 25 years.
