Range: Africa: Lake Tanganyika
Reproduction: Mouthbrooder, extremely challenging to breed (rarely done so successfully in aquaria.)
Feeding: Carnivorous. Eats all normal foods.
Additional Comments: Deepwater fish, prefers large open swimming space. Most stock sold is wild caught.
