Additional Comments: One of a number of species known as 'Goby Cichlids', these fish hop over the substrate like Gobies. They occur in shallow rocky coastal areas of the lake, a habitat influenced by strong currents from constant wave surges. In the wild they feed on algae and small invertebrates. Provide plenty of aeration and strong filtration, and plenty of rocky habitat.
