Reproduction: Eggs are laid on a hard surface, the eggs (and hatched fry) are guarded by both parents.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Small live and frozen foods, but also dry foods.
Additional Comments: A peaceful dwarf Cichlid, suitable for planted community tanks. Needs some hiding places. Both sexes very similar in appearance, the males develop slightly longer and more pointed fins.
