Range: China
Reproduction: Breeds in Spring as water temperatures start to increase. Scatters adhesive eggs amongst plants, the adults will prey on the eggs and fry if they find them. First foods for the fry include freshwater plankton (in ponds), or fry foods such as Vinegar Eels and Fry powder food (if raising in tanks).
Feeding: Omnivorous. Eats all normal foods, including aquatic plants.
Additional Comments: Nymph Goldfish are stout-bodied like a Fantail, but have a single tail like a Comet. These are very hardy Goldfish, ideal for either indoors or outdoors in garden ponds. The most commonly available colours are orange-red and also black.
