Feeding: Omnivorous, accepts most standard fish foods, prefers floating foods such as flake.

Additional Comments: Ideal for small outdoor water features- an efficient predator of mosquito larvae and very resilient to a wide range of fluctuating temperatures. Also known as Ricefish (the olive coloured wild form is often found in rice paddies). The golden form is a captive-bred strain.
