CHERRY SHRIMP

Reproduction: Easily bred. After mating the females crry the eggs under their tail until the young hatch and are fully developed.
Feeding: Omnivorous and Herbivorous (grazes on algae). Will scavenge on most fish foods.
Additional Comments: Very attractive small shrimp, ideal for nano tanks and planted tanks (ensure fish tankmates are of similar small size). Female shrimps become a rich cherry-red colour, the smaller males remain paler. Easily bred. Please note: avoid the use of copper based treatments if invertebrates are present in the tank.
