Reproduction: Eggs initially laid on a leaf or rock, parents pick the eggs up and mouthbrood.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Sand sifter, eats most normal foods.
Additional Comments: Previously known as Jurupari, the Green Horseface is a very peaceful species, considering it grows to an impressive 20-25cm. Fine sand (eg 2mm) is preferable for this fish as it likes to sift the substrate when searching for food. Requires very good filtration.
