Range: Primarily south-eastern Australia
Reproduction: After mating the female carries her eggs under her tail. The young disperse when they are fully developed.
Feeding: Omnivorous - accepts a wide range of foods, preferably sinking foods. Will also eat vegetable matter
Additional Comments: An interesting pet for the unheated tank. Ensure a tight fitting cover glass is used, and provide some hiding places if more than one Yabby is kept in the same tank.
