Range: Northern Australia and the Indo-Pacific region.
Reproduction: Will not breed in aquaria, a catadromous species - adults migrate to estuaries to spawn during the wet season.
Feeding: Carnivore, prefers bulky live or frozen foods. Readily accepts pellet foods.
Additional Comments: Grows very quickly, becomes very tame and responsive to owner. Best kept as a single pet specimen, or with other large-growing species.
