Range: Coastal streams, NT and Gulf of Carpentaria.
Reproduction: Does not spawn in aquaria.
Feeding: Carnivore, readily accepts most foods. Eats snails in nature.
Additional Comments: One of the rarer native catfishes, easily identifiable by its long snout. Suitable for a community tank containing peaceful medium to large species.
