Range: Northern Australia and the Indo-Pacific region.
Reproduction: Eggs laid on a firm surface and guarded by male until they hatch. The fry are very small and require saltwater plankton to survive.
Feeding: Carnivore, prefers live or frozen foods.
Additional Comments: Called the Crazy Fish because it often swims upside down or at some weird angle. Also called Crimson-tipped Gudgeon (adults develop red edged fins.) Being commonly found in the lower reaches of rivers and in estuaries, Crazy Fish benefit from additional salt in their tank (eg 5-10% seawater).
