Range: Coastal streams of Northen Australia, particularly from Darwin to the tip of Cape York.
Reproduction: Breeding behaviour is unknown for this species.
Feeding: Carnivore, prefers live or frozen foods.
Additional Comments: Interesting 'oddball' for an heated tank. Provide some hiding places and ensure the tank has an extremely tight fitting lid - Eels are master escape artists! Hardy and can become quite tame.
