Range: Northern and Central Australia
Reproduction: Egg scatterer, doesn't normally breed in aquaria.
Feeding: Carnivore, prefers live or frozen foods.
Additional Comments: Very durable species, best kept with other 'robust' types. NOXIOUS IN NSW (because it became established in the Clarence River system after accidentally being introduced with aquaculture species).
