Range: SE Queensland and northern NSW
Reproduction: Egg scatterer, eggs laid on plants.
Feeding: Omnivorous, accepts most foods (preferably sinking type).
Additional Comments: Inhabits bottom half of tank, prefers to be in a school. Looks best in planted tanks. A useful scavenger as it constantly searches the substrate for food.
