Range: Northern Australia and Indo-Pacific

Reproduction: Little known regarding breeding, probably lays eggs in a mud burrow. Not yet bred in aquaria.

Feeding: Omnivorous, prefers live or frozen foods, but also accepts dry foods.

Additional Comments: Fascinating brackish water fish that prefers habitat both above and below water (only partially fill the aquarium and aquascape to provide habitat extending above water level). Mudskippers also usually eat above water so place their food in a small shallow dish positioned above the water level.
