Reproduction: Mouthbrooder, male incubates the eggs until hatched. Spawns in late spring - early summer.

Additional Comments: Relatives of Arowana, Saratoga are prized as impressive display fish. Provide plenty of open swimming space and use a tight fitting lid (expert jumpers!).
