Reproduction: Eggs scattered among plants, usually spawns in morning. First food for fry: Powder foods, Vinegar eels.
Feeding: Omnivorous, accepts most standard foods. Avoid beefheart, feed vegetable foods regularly.
Additional Comments: Also known as the Barred Rainbow, this species occurs in a wide range of geographic colour varieties across northern New Guinea. The Chameleon form displays a wide range of colours, depending on its mood. Ideal for large planted aquaria with open swimming space.
