Range: West Africa: Eastern Benin and Nigeria, Western Cameroon
Reproduction: Spawns in a cave, eggs and fry guarded by the parents. Easily bred and fry are easy to raise.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Eats all normal foods.
Additional Comments: Pairing fish. Needs hiding places. Good beginner's cichlid, adults are normally very good parents, Kribensis are an excellent choice for anyone wanting to keep a colourful Cichlid and observe their fascinating parental care.
