Range: Northern Australia and southern New Guinea
Reproduction: Eggs scattered among plants, usually spawns in morning. Fry require very small foods such as Paramecium.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Prefers small sized foods such as Daphnia and Baby Brine Shrimp.
Additional Comments: Males put on elaborate courtship dances with extended finnage. Best kept in a single species tank, or with other small fishes in a planted tank. Suitable for nano tanks.
