Reproduction: Eggs are laid on a hard surface, the eggs (and hatched fry) are guarded by both parents.
Feeding: Carnivorous and omnivorous. Small live and frozen foods, but also accepts dry foods.
Additional Comments: Very attractive dwarf Cichlid with intricate colouration. Best kept in a planted tank with peaceful types, will not dig up plants. Needs some hiding places.
