Reproduction: Eggs are laid on a hard surface, the eggs (and hatched fry) are guarded by both parents.
Feeding: Carnivorous and omnivorous. :Piscivorous. Eats all kinds of live foods.
Additional Comments: The Red Terror is a very powerful Cichlid which digs a lot, needs plenty of hiding places and a very large aquarium. But they are also one of the most attractive of the large American Cichlids: mature males are predominantly green and mature females become brick-red. An excellent fish for anyone who loves large powerful fish.
