Reproduction: Substrate brooder, lays eggs in a mud burrow which are then guarded by the male until they hatch.
Feeding: Herbivorous and Omnivorous. Algae-eater, also accepts most sinking-type foods.
Additional Comments: Very attractive algae eating catfish, chocolate coloured with multiple golden spots. Ideal for display tanks containing medium to large growing species.
