Reproduction: Egg-scatterer, doubtful if bred in captivity.
Feeding: Carnivorous. Prefers live or frozen foods.
Additional Comments: Popular catfish, with its distinctive spots and long 'whiskers'. Very active swimming behaviour. Two variants are known, differing by the appearance of their spots. Will prey on small fishes!
