Reproduction: A 'cuckoo' species, it lays its eggs during the spawning of mouthbrooding Cichlids, duping the female Cichlid into brooding the catfish's eggs as well.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Eats most standard fish foods.
Additional Comments: Best kept in small groups. Provide some hiding places. Popular catfish for tanks containing Rift Lake Cichlids.
