Range: South America:Guyana, Brazil
Reproduction: Lays eggs on a firm surface (plants, slate etc). The eggs and fry are cared for by both parents.
Feeding: Carnivorous. Live and frozen foods, also dry foods.
Additional Comments: Peru Altums are reminiscent of true (Orinoco) Altums, but are much easier to keep than true Altums! Very attractive wild form of Angel, best kept in large aquaria with plants and driftwood as hiding places.
