Reproduction: Eggs are laid on a hard surface, the eggs (and hatched fry) are guarded by both parents.
Feeding: Omnivorous, herbivorous. Accepts all foods, but feed vegetable foods regularly.
Additional Comments: Pairing fish. Needs hiding places. Large specimens make great display fish. Adult males have intricate patterning over the gill plates.
