Reproduction: Eggs are laid on a hard surface, the eggs (and hatched fry) are guarded by both parents.
Feeding: Carnivorous, partly piscivorous. Greedy eater, prefers bulky foods.
Additional Comments: Adults are efficient fish predator with impressive canine teeth! Grows quickly and is very territorial. Provide plenty of hiding places. Males grow mcuh larger than females and are more intricately patterned.
