Reproduction: Mouth-brooder, difficult to breed.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Eats most normal foods, but prefers small live or frozen foods.
Additional Comments: Shy at first, best kept with fish such as small tetras. More sensitive than most Gouramies. Prefers a well planted tank. Rarely bred in captivity, most stock is wild collected. Suitable for a nano tank.
