Range: Thailand, Cambodia
Reproduction: Males build a bubblenest amongst plants at the surface. After spawning, the eggs are guarded by the male until the fry have hatched and are free-swimming. The fry require tiny live food such as Paramecium.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Eats all normal foods.
Additional Comments: Grows larger than most commonly available Gouramies. Prefers a well planted tank. Adult males develop a pastel hue to their body.
