Range: South East Asia
Reproduction: Lays buoyant eggs which are adhesive, no parental care exercised. The fry require tiny live food such as Paramecium.
Feeding: Omnivorous and herbivorous (algae). Eats all normal foods.
Additional Comments: Popular, hardy species. Has a good appetite, tends to graze on algae in between feeds. Two specimens 'kissing' are actually having a territorial dispute!
