Reproduction: Mouth-brooder, difficult to breed.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Eats most normal foods, but prefers small live or frozen foods.
Additional Comments: Attractive relative of the Chocolate Gourami. Shy at first, best kept in a well planted tank with gentle species such as Cardinal Tetras. More sensitive than most Gouramies.
