PARADISE FISH BLACK

Range: Vietnam
Reproduction: Males build a bubblenest amongst plants at the surface. After spawning, the eggs are guarded by the male until the fry have hatched and are free-swimming. The fry require tiny live food such as Paramecium.
Feeding: Omnivorous. Eats all normal foods.
Additional Comments: The Black Paradise prefers tropical water temperatures and unlike normal Paradise fish, it is not as tolerant of cooler temperatures. Non-breeding fish are light to dark grey, breeding males are much more black.
